Senior Marketing Management Executive

Our client has retained us on an exclusive search basis to seek a superior individual to drive organizational direction and activities by co-developing a Strategic Plan, a Product Technology roadmap, and leading the development of the annual Commercial plan. The plan focuses activities around pricing, product, placement and promotions. Role functions as marketing leader, as well as matrixes with all company functions, such as Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and R&D. Lead new product development line extension activities as required.

Generally, to serve as business leader on their most important product category and accelerate profitable growth:

· Deliver annual volume and profit goals
· Recommend monthly pricing
· Partner with Supply Chain & Logistics to recommend monthly volume forecasting
· Partner with Engineering to sustain product quality and minimize claims
· Partner with Business Process Improvement teams to achieve productivity improvements
· Drive awareness and trial
· Drive franchise business strategy and execution
· Supervise communication and messaging strategy to sustain competitive point-of-difference
· Supervise voice-of-customer activities as they relate to buying behavior, brand preference, and key drivers of awareness, trial, repeat purchase and loyalty
· Provide expertise on how to optimally leverage/extend the brand to maximize revenue and profit and strengthen brand equity
· Partner with Emerging Markets Manager to identify attractive market segments.
· Partner with Innovation team to develop line extensions and identify new relevant technology
· Assist Marketing Communications leader in management of external agencies including advertising, digital marketing, PR, trade shows, and event marketing
· Matrix Company functions to aid in evaluation of business
· Coordinate due diligence with Legal, Finance and Strategy group

The successful candidate will have 6-10 years of dynamic Marketing achievement in the building products, or related area, including certain consumer products, with strong understanding and experience of marketing including product management, product development, P&L experience, marketing communications. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record as a leader with solid business acumen and organizational savvy, strong planning and analysis skills and superior education, including a possible MBA.
This position is located in the Southeastern United States.
Bonuses and potential profit-sharing are also available.
