Field Service/After Market Manager
Due to product expansion this successful manufacturer, a leader in their industry, will be adding a After Market/Field Service Manager to focus on the growth and profitability of their aftermarket, field service and customer service groups. This position will focus on development and implementation of an ongoing parts and service strategy throughout North America; determine schedules, sequences and assignments for work activities; collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and to promote sales of company products and provide sales support; provide excellent customer service to established equipment owners and oversee a staff of up to 14. This position will be based out of Atlanta, Georgia and will oversee 4 other sites nationwide. Candidates must be open to domestic travel up to 50%; most travel will be overnight. This is a full time opening on days. Qualified candidates should be innovative, exemplify high level of customer service, organized, have the ability to create a plan and execute goals and objectives, trust-worthy, professional and personable. REQUIREMENTS for the Field Service/After Market Manager:
1. A Bachelors degree
2. A minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role field service or aftermarket
3. Experience overseeing field service technicians
4. Strong customer service skills
5. Experience overseeing multiple sites
6. Heavy equipment or construction equipment industry experience
7. A proven track record of increasing aftermarket sales and profitability
8. The ability to travel up to 50% of the time (including overnight travel)
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. P&L responsibility
2. Experience working for a foreign based company
3. Strong technical or mechanical aptitude
4. Experience working with MRP or manufacturing management software
5. Foreign languages
