Our client is looking for an Online Copywriter with strong familiarity with trends in online and direct marketing, email and advertising in general, along with a deep knowledge of the interactive digital space is required.
Responsibilities:
-Copywriting mainly for an online environment including text link advertisements, blogs, banner advertisements, emails and site content. There will be some involvement with offline marketing initiatives.
-Writing persuasive copy that engages and drives customers to take action.
-Work with Designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style, and intuitive labeling.
-Work with Editorial to research and write original blog content.
-Interface with the Ad Operations and Product teams on a daily basis and respond to specific needs of campaigns with an appropriate writing style.
-Conduct research as needed for assigned writing projects including newsletters.
Requirements:
****Please come with client-side experience**** as well as the following:
-Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field
-2-4 years of experience as a Copywriter in online environments preferable working with consumer brands
-Must be familiar with using an online content management system
-A strong understanding of direct marketing and advertising principles including demonstrated success in copy optimization for key conversion events, actions in email and web
-Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks under established deadlines
-Ability to express thoughts and ideas logically, clearly and concisely in writing
Samples of online marketing copy, and a cover letter explaining why youve selected the samples required with your resume submittal
