Our client is looking for a talented Senior Art Director with extensive interactive experience working on large consumer websites. This is a hands-on creative role.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to sell and connect to consumers via great creative delivered on websites, email, online marketing campaigns and social media channels. Please come with experience mentoring, managing and motivate a team. Be driven by improving the creative product and exceeding engagement and financial targets through your efforts. You continually review and optimize results for every piece of creative work your team produces.
Responsibilities include:
Lead creative direction of compelling online experiences that are both engaging and visually attractive
Manage a team of web designers
Lead creation of style guidelines for all elements of visual and UI Design
Lead conception and direction of compelling digital marketing.
Passionate about hands on work on your own creative projects
Keeping up with best practices online and offline & maintain knowledge of best of breed consumer websites.
Hiring Requirements:
Agency and client side experience preferred
Experience working with large consumer websites
Experience in start-up environments desirable
Preference will be given to those who can demonstrate success on media sites with strong advertising and sponsored link models.
Experience working on brand transformations
Experience with UK and major European markets a plus
Bachelors/Masters degree in related design or online field.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience with 3+ years leading creative teams and projects
Expert use of Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator & Quark/Indesign a must.
Understanding of Flash & After Effects, and Video production #a plus#
An online portfolio is a must
