Job title: Brand Development Manager
Summary: To assume a brand creation position in the organization by creating,
developing and sustaining brand marketing plans, including but not limited to,
positioning and target consumers and customer bases. This position is also responsible
for becoming the brand expert to customers which involves creating and selling in
platforms and designing specific and general brand strengths. In addition, this position
will assist marketing in development of positioning and sales platforms for the Companys
brand, as well as any and all other branding initiatives. This position is responsible for
the entire branding process from creation and development to shipment and beyond
through maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
. Create brand strategies including positioning, selling price, promotional schedules and
selling platforms
. Create new branded items and selling initiatives
. Market the company image and position throughout the industry
. Act as primary and day-to-day selling interface to customer HQ penetrating multiple
levels within the selling/customer organizations (brand focused)
. Build strong customer relationships
. Develop and execute customer plans pricing, promotion
. Analyze sales performance trends and adjust plans accordingly to meet goals
. Provide forecasts for specified branded products
. Provide feedback regarding competition, customer and industry
. Create, contribute, and present sales presentations
. Work collaboratively with sales, marketing and product development to ensure product
requirements and plans are achieved
. Assist in development of branded marketing plan
. Execute branded marketing plans
. Work with Product Development to create or change formulas when necessary to achieve
branded objectives
. Drive new brands through grass roots marketing/selling in addition to national efforts
. Responsibilities may also include unexpected job duties as required by business needs.

Job Description
Education, Experience & Skill Set Required:
. BS/BA degree
. Analytical skills with previous selling and marketing experience required.
. Confidentiality a must.
. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
. High degree of accuracy required.
2-3 years Experience selling branded CPG products
. 1-2 years marketing experience for CPG company
. Ability to travel
. Strong Presentation Skills
Strong Self Motivational skills
. Strong analytical skills
Language Skills:
. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
. Strong communication skills. Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of
management in order to meet daily information needs.
