Senior Product Manager-Manufacturing
Our client is a leader in the coatings industry. They have developed a new approach for providing cost-effective and environmentally sound coating solutions for a variety of industries to include automotive, appliance, agriculture computer and construction.
They have a need for a senior product manager to develop the product and marketing concept from inception and rolling out the service for industrial accounts.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skill sets and background: marketing, strategy, pricing, positioning, development needs and planning.
Essential Responsibilities
-Responsible for managing the new product offering go to market strategy
- Develop product requirements documents with estimated costing, target markets, sales volumes, recommended competitive price positioning and expected profitability
-Provide key support to the Operations & Sales teams to ensure that key commercial and technical aspects of offers/bids are complete and compliant with customers requirements and that solutions are presented in the most competitive manner
-Accountable indirectly for orders and sales and directly for contribution margin and ROI for the respective products suite
-Monitor, gather and analyze market information and intelligence to determine customer requirements and value propositions
- work to develop commercial growth ideas
-Accountable for product commercialization including originating technical and sales documentation, costing, product competitive and price positioning
-Develop value propositions for regional segmentation or for individual utilities
-Work with Sales to secure opportunities
-Collaborate with Engineers
Compensation $120000 to $150000 with 30% bonus
