Our client, one of the top Global Medical Device Organizations in the World, has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative for the non-hospital accounts.
The Inside Sales Representative will:
Coordinate, sell and support Medical/Surgical Device products achieving sales objectives in all categories.
Develop meaningful and impactful relationships with clinicians, independent/privately owned Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) and physician office support personnel, and alternate site distributor partners
Improve the perception that customers, distribution partners, and other points of contact have of Covidien.
DAILY FUNCTIONS:
1. Achieve territorial and team sales objective in all bonus categories.
2. Effectively use the telephone (occasionally travel) to build relationships with key account personnel and key Distributor Partners to protect and grow the existing business at assigned surgery centers and Physicians Offices.
4. Maintain accurate records of conversations and follow up plans with each customer/contact within your territory. Maintain current business through outstanding customer service.
5. Occasional Travel in field to support proper clinical utilization of technologies and distributor sales initiatives.
6. Develop new business by penetrating and converting competitive products in targeted accounts, utilizing available product sampling programs and available selling resources and available sales tools.
7. Conduct business reviews to demonstrate strength of Company contracts and to highlight new areas for growth.
8. Increase overall satisfaction levels at accounts through phone in-servicing surgeons, fellows, residents, and other operating room personnel OR on the safe and efficacious use of the Surgical products.
9. Eliminate Returns, and reduce the exchanges of product through effective inventory management.
10. Participate in Divisional, and Regional and distributor partner (as required) meetings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education preferred: 4 years of college
Experience: Minimum 2 years Inside Sales experience with experience in medical device sales and experience selling to Distributors for non-hospital accounts (preferred)
Preferred Skills: Excellent understanding of what facilitates a collaborative and productive relationship between the vendor and the various surgery center or physician office stakeholders. Excellent phone, written, verbal skills; ability to develop and present complex product demonstrations.
First year income should be around $70-80K with bonus.
