Technical Business Development Marketing Manager: Our client is a leading manufacturer of electrical power conversion products used within the renewable wind energy marketplace. Due to extreme growth within the industry this stable and rapidly growing leading manufacturer is searching for a highly talented technical sales and marketing professional who possess an understanding of power quality systems used within the wind generation marketplace. This includes specific applications knowledge of reactive power, inverters, and electrical power systems in the wind generation, utility distribution/transmission marketplace. This person will be the primary interface to a wide variety of potential wind farm customers including: Developers, general contractors, consulting engineers, wind turbine manufacturers or the utilities in preparing bids, proposals and quotes. This person will be responsible for establishing the marketing and selling strategies of inverter products for utility grid interconnection. Reporting to the Division GM this individual must have a strong Business Development background that includes the ability to manage the sales, marketing and application of these systems utilizing the field sales resources, industry contacts, associations, etc. This individual may live in the Orlando, FL or in the Milwaukee, WI area. Relocate to either one of these areas within a 1 year timeframe is required.
This position requires a BSEE degree a minimum of 5+ years industry experience involving interfacing with engineering, developing and driving sales strategies, the development of of major project proposals and completing the sale process. Travel approximately 30%. Excellent compensation and benefits package.
